Reports
Reports summarize a month or a full year — useful for taxes, your accountant, or checking how the business is doing.
Open Reports in the menu. Pick a report type, choose year (and month if needed), then tap View report or Excel.
Report types
Mileage only
Lists trips, miles, and deduction totals using the standard mileage rate. Good when you only need driving records for a period.
Expense and mileage ledger (full detail)
The complete picture: paid invoices, expenses, mileage, and time for the period. Same structure as the Excel export. Use this when you want line-by-line detail.
Profit and loss (P&L)
High-level revenue (paid invoices) minus operating expenses and mileage deduction, with net income. Home-office gross amounts may show separately for information — they are not always fully counted as deductible expenses in the net total.
Dates matter
- Invoices in reports use the paid date (when money actually came in).
- Expenses and time use the transaction date you entered.
- Reports use calendar year months unless noted otherwise.
PDF and Excel
- View report opens a preview in the browser. Use Print or Save as PDF from your phone or computer to keep a copy.
- Excel downloads a spreadsheet — handy for your accountant or for your own backup.
On the report preview, you may see Hide timestamp if you do not want “generated at” text on a PDF you share.
Tips
- Mark invoices paid with the correct paid date before running annual reports — otherwise revenue lands in the wrong year.
- Run a monthly ledger during the year so you catch missing expenses early.
- Demo mode can view reports on sample data but cannot download Excel exports.
